Akkodis is seeking a Professional - Recruiter II for a Contract job with a client in New York NY or Pittsburgh, PA (4 days hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background with demonstrated knowledge of technical and legal aspects of HR.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience.

Professional - Recruiter II job responsibilities include:

• Own the recruiting process from initial intake through sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, interview coordination, and offer management.
• Manage 20+ open requisitions at varying stages while maintaining communication with hiring managers and candidates.
• Proactively source candidates using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google searches, and other sourcing methods. There is no dedicated offshore sourcing support.
• Understand technical requirements well enough to assess candidate fit, explain strengths and gaps, and discuss potential tradeoffs with hiring managers.
• Support a predominantly Java-based engineering organization across New York, Pittsburgh, and Lake Mary.
• Provide hiring managers with weekly updates, with flexibility for more frequent communication as needed.
• Follow internal offer preparation and approval processes; training will be provided on those procedures.
• Experience using AI tools in recruiting is a plus, but not required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Targeting 3–5 years of technical recruiting experience. Candidates with more experience are welcome if they fit within the rate; candidates with fewer than 3 years are not targeted.
• Must have experience recruiting technology talent, particularly developers, architects, Java engineers, AI engineers, and data engineers.
• Experience recruiting permanent/full-time employees is required. A background focused solely on contract staffing will not align with the need.
• A combination of agency and in-house recruiting experience is preferred.
• Financial services experience is a plus, but not required. Technology companies and other large corporate environments are also relevant.
• Enterprise experience is important. Candidates whose experience is limited to small organizations may have difficulty adjusting to the scale and structure of the team.
