Role Description The Virtual Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Buffalo, NY, responsible for overseeing daily store and virtual operations that support Rooms To Go Kids customers. This role manages order processing, inventory coordination, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery and accurate product availability across digital and in-store channels. The Virtual Operations Manager collaborates with sales associates, customer service, and warehouse teams to streamline workflows, resolve operational issues, and maintain quality standards. The role also monitors performance metrics, updates operational procedures, and supports training to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including experience coordinating inventory, order fulfillment, and workflow processes in a retail or similar environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and oversee multiple operational activities simultaneously.
- Comfort with digital tools and systems, such as POS platforms, inventory management software, and online communication tools used in virtual operations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, provide clear instructions, and support customer-facing staff.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify issues, interpret data, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation, reporting, and operational compliance.
- Experience in retail operations, logistics, or customer service is preferred; prior leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, operations, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Buffalo, NY, with flexibility to support peak retail periods, including evenings or weekends as needed.
